What Are Minecraft Chunks Anyways?
To make things clear, chunks are the bricks that make up the Minecraft world. Each brick loads into the game individually.
There are times when chunks don’t load properly in the world. Being able to reset chunks will be very useful.
You understand that there are different groups of blocks already. When you’re digging for resources, you’re going to find different block types.
There are blocks of dirt, cobblestone blocks, blocks that contain iron, and many other kinds of blocks. Chunks can refer to groups of blocks with the same dimensions and shapes.
New chunks will appear before you go to a new area in Minecraft. The blocks are all procedural-generated by the game.
When you move away from the blocks, they unload to ensure that you’re not using up RAM unnecessarily.
You can make it so you can see the chunk borders by pressing F3 and G together to see a grid.
How to Make Chunks Reload
Now that you understand the basics, it’s time to learn how to reload chunks in the game. The methods differ depending on which version of the game you’re playing.
If you’re playing Minecraft Java Edition, it’s pretty easy overall. You can still force chunks to reload in Minecraft Bedrock Edition (aka Windows Edition), but it’s less convenient.

How to make chunks reload in Minecraft Bedrock Edition
In Minecraft Bedrock Edition, you can’t use the F3 and A key trick to reload chunks. The only thing that you can do is exit the game and come back in.
This will reload the chunks for you to solve problems with certain blocks not appearing. Just exit and then come back into the game or server; things should be okay in Minecraft.

Reloading chunks in the game is easy once you know how to do it.
In Java Edition, you’ll be able to get the job done with a few key presses.
Bedrock Edition makes it necessary to leave the game or server and come back in.
Either way, you’ll be able to do what is necessary and get back to exploring the game.
