What are Best Friends on Snapchat?

You know who your best friend is in real life, but on Snapchat that might be a little different.

The application has a separate section for Best Friends, which are the people that you snap and chat with the most.

Snapchat puts Best Friends at the top of your “send to” and “chat” section so you can talk to them easily.

You can have up to eight Best Friends on Snapchat. They have special emojis next to their names, such as a gold heart if you are each other’s top Best Friend.

You can’t change the emojis next to your Best Friend’s name (that all depends on how often you snap) but you can change their nickname.

How To Change Your Best Friend’s Nickname on Snapchat?

Most people’s names on Snapchat show up as the name they chose when making the app.

However, you can go in and add your own nickname. However, you can change their name yourself.

To change your best friend’s name, go to the “My Friends” section and tap on their name.

Tap on the Settings button, click on “Edit Name,” and enter your new nickname for them! As with stories, the character limit is 30 characters.
